Owners abroad

A local plan for property you already own in Greece.

For overseas owners and heirs who need a clear first step: evaluate, sell, rent, renovate or simply understand what has to be resolved first.

01

Start with facts, not assumptions

Location, title status, number of owners or heirs, physical access, condition, whether the property is registered with the Hellenic Cadastre, and which documents actually exist — these determine the practical route far more than what the property is theoretically worth.

02

Inherited property is usually a document problem before it is a market problem

In most inherited cases the property cannot be sold or formally let until the succession is accepted and registered and the declared position matches the cadastral and tax records. That work belongs to a lawyer, notary and accountant. What we can do immediately is establish the property-side facts — condition, access, realistic market position, what a buyer or tenant would require — so that when the legal side clears, you are not starting from zero.

03

One local coordination point

GPI can coordinate the property-side assessment and introduce the appropriate independent lawyer, engineer, notary, accountant, contractor or manager when their expertise is required. You get one person to call in Greece instead of five you have never met.

Sell

A realistic market and readiness assessment before the property is exposed.

Rent

Condition, tenant fit, compliance and management requirements reviewed honestly.

Renovate

Scope, access and oversight clarified before any works begin.

Inherited property

Property-side facts mapped while legal status is handled by your counsel.
